Does ISCC allow the use of third-party GHG calculation solutions or does it offer a GHG calculation template?

Currently, ISCC does not “recognise” third-party GHG calculation software or offer any templates for GHG calculations. While ISCC does not mandate a specific software to be used, i.e. a custom-built or third-party solution is possible, the GHG calculation must always be transparent and auditable, i.e the used formulas, emission factors, activity date, etc. must always be accessible for verification.

For GHG calculations in Microsoft Excel, the solution sheets to the group works of the advanced GHG Training could be used as a starting point/design reference. Please note, however, that ISCC is not able to provide any support in setting up an actual GHG calculation beyond the training or the System Documents.
