How should GHG information be reported and transferred through the supply chain for intermediate RFNBOs?

Modified on Tue, 9 Jun at 7:13 PM

GHG information should be reported in a way that supports downstream RFNBO calculation.

For RFNBO intermediates, gCO₂eq/MJ is appropriate because RFNBO calculations are energy-based.

The declaration should include the actual GHG value for each formula element, the transport mode and the distance.

Traders and storage operators should forward the GHG information received. They do not recalculate GHG values.

If they organise transport to the next recipient, they must add the relevant transport mode and distance.

A batch may have only one Sustainability Declaration. Multiple declarations for the same batch are not permitted.
