What is the NTR ID and why is it needed?

Modified on Thu, 2 Jul at 3:52 PM

The NTR ID stands for National Trade Register Identifier. This ID is required by the UDB for the Economic Operators to uniquely identify themselves to other parties (sellers/buyers) so that the UDB can ensure consistency of organisations across all Voluntary Schemes.

As per the EC UDB requirements, the NTR ID must adhere to the specific structure outlined on the public Wiki page of the European Commission.

We recommend ensuring that the NTR ID provided in the ISCC HUB is correct. Please note that without this information, we are unable to onboard any company and its associated certificate(s) into the UDB.
