According to the European Commission communication document “Guidance on the targets for the consumption of renewable fuels of non-biological origin in the industry and transport sectors” (Chapter 2.2), injecting RFNBO-H2 into the EU interconnected gas grid infrastructure is allowed, provided that hydrogen complies with the ISCC EU’s requirements for mass balance and traceability.
